Description

At Laminex New Zealand, we’re investing in a cutting-edge wood processing asset that will unlock new markets and drive growth across furniture, joinery, and construction panels. To bring this vision to life, we’re looking for a dynamic and detail-driven Programme Delivery Manager who has a track record of coordinating complex programmes in fast-paced environments, where collaboration and communication are key.

As Programme Delivery Manager, you'll drive a high-impact programme. You'll ensure structure, visibility, and progress in a multi-stream transformation by aligning efforts, tracking milestones, managing risks, and maintaining communication. Note: This role focuses on managing internal workstreams at Laminex, not the construction project, to bring the new plant's operations to life.

You’ll work closely with workstream leads, the General Manager, and key stakeholders to ensure we deliver on time, within budget, and to the quality standards outlined in our business case.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Coordinating detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets
  • Monitoring progress, risks, and dependencies
  • Creating reports for senior leadership, simplifying complex information into easy-to-understand updates.
  • Supporting integration planning and change management
  • Driving compliance with internal governance and safety standards

What you’ll bring:

  • A degree in Business, Project Management, Engineering, or related field
  • 1–3 years’ experience in project coordination or delivery
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
  • Proficiency in project tools like MS Project, Powerpoint, Asana, Jira, or Smartsheet
  • A collaborative mindset and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment

This is a 12 month fixed term role for the duration of the project transition, commencing in July 2025. The role is based in our Penrose head office and will require some travel to the Taupo site.
This is a high impact role in a growth focused project that will provide exceptional career experience.
