Winstone Aggregates take pride in their contributions to infrastructure and construction projects while prioritizing the preservation of our natural resources.
With three projects included in the Governments Fast Track Act 2024, our environmental team are looking to deliver multiple Fast Track applications to the Environmental Protection Authority (EPA).
To support this, we are looking for an experienced Project Co-Ordinator for a fixed-term, 2-year position who will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth execution of the projects by coordinating resources, managing documentation, and facilitating communication among various stakeholders.
Ko tā mātou mahi | Our Role
• Organise and coordinate technical personnel involved in quarry projects
• Manage contract engagement processes and documentation
• Prepare and distribute meeting minutes and agendas
• Organise and coordinate key meetings with iwi, Department of Conservation (DOC), Environmental Protection Authority (EPA), and internal project team members
• Maintain comprehensive project documentation and reports
• Assist in tracking project progress, timelines, and budgets
• Facilitate communication between project stakeholders and team members
Ngā Pūmanawa | What You Will Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in planning, Project Management, or a related field (preferred)
- Proactive nature, ability to work under time pressure and prioritise
- 3-10 years of experience working on similar sized projects, preferably in the extractive or construction industries
- Familiarity with Agile or Scrum frameworks (e.g., sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives) is highly advantageous.
- Experience coordinating cross-functional teams in time-critical or fast-track projects, preferably in infrastructure or environmental contexts.
- Proficiency in project management software (Project) and Microsoft Office suite
- Experience in stakeholder engagement and management
- Knowledge of resource consent processes and environmental regulations (advantageous)
