This 12-month fixed term role will suit someone who is confident leading complex technology projects, working across business and technical teams, and keeping critical systems running smoothly through change. You will manage the full project lifecycle, with a strong focus on payroll continuity, integration readiness, data quality, testing, and stakeholder engagement.

  • Work closely with HR, Payroll, Finance, Technology, vendors, implementation partners, and VINCI transition teams
  • Support business readiness, communication, adoption, and handover to future support teams

What You’ll Bring to the Role:
  • You will bring a practical, organised, and calm approach to project delivery, with the ability to work across both business and technical detail.
  • We are looking for someone with:
  • At least 8 years’ project management experience delivering enterprise business systems projects
  • Experience delivering payroll, HRIS, ERP, workforce management, or similar system implementations
  • Strong experience managing complex integrations, data migration, testing, and cutover activity

  • A project management certification such as PMP, PRINCE2, Agile PM, or equivalent
  • Strong communication, planning, vendor management, and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Experience with API, middleware, enterprise integration platforms, payroll controls, or HR processes would be highly regarded. Change management certification would also be an advantage.

What’s on Offer:
  • Lead a major payroll transformation programme from Chris21 to PayGlobal
  • Join Fletcher Construction as we grow our in-house technology capability
  • Be part of an exciting transition into the global VINCI Construction group
  • Work alongside business and technology leaders across a large and complex organisation
  • Opportunities to grow your career as new technology roles and functions are established
  • Penrose office location with free parking and onsite café
  • Up to 4% matched KiwiSaver contribution
