Higgins is seeking Expressions of Interest from Project Managers to join our Maintenance team in Wellington.

As a Project Manager you will oversee road maintenance projects and contracts from tendering through to completion, ensuring excellence in team leadership, stakeholder engagement, resource management, financial oversight, and EHS compliance.

What you’ll bring to the role
  • Previous experience in roading maintenance is essential
  • Understanding of the technical, contractual, and financial requirements of roading maintenance contracts
  • Strong computer skills; RAMM, MS Word, Excel, Project and CRM systems
  • Ability to lead and motivate teams to meet targets and objectives
  • High level communication and relationship management skills
  • Experience of financial processes with a commercial focus in budgeting, management of P&L and cost control
  • Commitment to the highest standards of health and safety
  • Being adaptable, flexible, and having the capacity to cope with multiple issues
