Brian Perry Civil is a leading and award-winning New Zealand contractor. As part of the overall Fletcher Building Group, we undertake a wide range of civil construction projects throughout New Zealand and the South Pacific with specialities including foundation and piling works.

With plenty of work on the books and a positive future workload, we are expanding and excited about the growth of our company. Due to our demand, we have an opportunity for a Project Manager to join our team, focusing on civil projects including 3 waters, earthworks, drainage and structures.

This role is for an experienced Project Manager who has focus in the civil/infrastructure market. Your role will be to plan, resource and coordinate the delivery of projects from end to end, to ensure we achieve and exceed targets as relating to safety standards, quality standards, budgets and the project objectives.

This role will require a tertiary qualified engineer (education may be substituted with experience) with at least 7+ years’ experience, offering a depth of expertise in a range of construction civil projects and project delivery.

What we are looking for ideally is:-

Experience using project management software (Microsoft Project or P6)
Ability to identify technical issues and obstacles and offer solutions
Excellent time management and organisational skills
Have the ability to maintain positive customer relationships and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders
Disciplines on the project will be another key to your success
You will also be an effective communicator, someone offering an innate sense of commercial savvy which will show itself in your prior success in finishing projects on time and within budget
Finally your ability to identify and manage both risk and opportunities will be something you will pride yourself on
