Description

We have an opportunity available for a Project Manager experienced in asphalt paving to join our Green Team in Mount Maunganui.

Our Paving Division has a strong pipeline of work and we are looking for an experienced Project Manager who can drive project delivery and lead a team of engineers and QA technicians.

What you’ll bring to the role:
  • Civil Engineering Degree or similar
  • Prior experience as a Project Engineer or Manager on Asphalt paving projects is essential 
  • A strong focus on Clients and relationships 
  • A strong focus on cost control and Quality outcomes
  • In-depth knowledge of aggregates, surfacing (hot mix and chip-sealing) with a technical understanding of these materials and their applications
  • Understanding of the Construction Contracts Act and the knowledge to apply NZS3910 is desirable
  • Full clean Class 1 New Zealand Driver’s License
  • Strong focus on health and safety not just your own but your colleagues and the public
  • Self-motivated with a positive attitude and the ability to think for yourself
