Clever Core is New Zealand’s largest purpose-designed, off-site manufacturer of the structural core for residential housing.  We work with architects and designers to develop plans that are compatible with our high-tech, off-site manufacturing process. These plans are used to manufacture closed wall panels, floor and roof cassettes which are then assembled on-site by our assembly team to complete our customer offering. About the Role

We are on the hunt for a Project Supervisor to head up the assembly and post construction process of our next generation homes. You will be required to:
  • Plan, manage, control and co-ordinate the assembly and construction processes to ensure the delivery of product in accordance with the plans, shop drawing and specifications through a team of speciality contractors and employees.
  • Meet the requirements of Clevercore business plan to achieve agreed levels of profitability, timeliness, and quality and customer service
  • Develop strong relationships in the industry with subcontractors, suppliers and customers enhancing the reputation of Clevercore to secure further opportunities and repeat business for the future
  • Actively demonstrate safe work processes, and behaviours and ensure these are followed by all employees and contractors in their place of work
  • Lead our assembly teams on site with a culture of continuous improvement.

About You

You will be an accomplished Construction Site Manager with experience of managing medium density residential construction projects from planning to completion. You must be a Level 4 qualified carpenter and have a current LBP License. You will have excellent organisation and logistics skills in order to manage multiple projects at one time. 

We’re looking for someone with strong leadership qualities as well as in-depth understanding of construction techniques, methodologies, technologies, and products. Familiarity with design specifications and relevant building legislative requirements is also key. Innovation plays a key part in everything we do here at Clever Core so we would like to find someone who thinks outside the box and isn’t afraid to speak up with new ideas. 

You will need to be comfortable taking a flexible approach as we continue to grow, but customer satisfaction must be at the core of everything you do.
