Fletcher Insulation is a leading Australian manufacturer and distributor of insulation products, with iconic brands such as Pink® Batts and Sisalation®. We are an Australian company, and part of the Fletcher Building group. Our products are used extensively in the building industry on residential and commercial projects and are supplied through our specialist customer channels, which include insulation supply and install businesses, commercial contractors, national outlets and retail hardware stores.

About Your New Role

We are thrilled to be looking for a Purchasing Analyst to join our team in Dandenong, due to increased business growth our team is needing additional resources! This role sits at the centre of our operations, where your ability to stay organised, think ahead, and communicate clearly keeps everything moving. You will manage the flow of materials into our sites, working closely with production teams, suppliers, and procurement to ensure what’s needed is available at the right time. From running material requirement planning through to tracking orders and resolving issues, you will play a key role in supporting smooth, reliable operations.

Alongside the day-to-day, you will bring a curious, improvement mindset, using data and conversations with operational teams to better understand purchasing patterns, support forecasting, and identify opportunities to work smarter. You will also support core procurement processes, from maintaining supplier information to contributing to reporting and compliance requirements.

Someone who brings a mix of practical experience, curiosity, and strong interpersonal capability. You don’t need to tick every box—if you’re keen to learn and bring a thoughtful, proactive approach.

Experience in purchasing, procurement, planning, or a similar role
Ideally have experience within a manufacturing, operational or complex setting
Comfortable working with data, with the ability to interpret trends, identify insights, and support decision-making
Attention to detail, with a natural ability to stay organised and manage competing priorities
Confident communicator who builds positive, respectful relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders
Someone who takes initiative, looks for improvements, and follows things through
Exposure to ERP systems (e.g. SAP) and/or data tools like Power BI
