Description

Our Higgins team in Tauranga are looking for a permanent full time Quality Assurance Technician to join the Surfacing Division.

As a QA Tech you will provide effective and proactive support through accurate and timely data and documentation control, plan, and monitor quality assurance in different roading surfaces.  You’ll also facilitate onsite field testing, using mathematical and machinery procedures and to give you the full experience you may also be on the end of the shovel supporting the Team in the field.

What you’ll bring to the role:
  • Previous surfacing experience and understanding of products used in asphalting
  • Relevant Tertiary qualification
  • Ability to work night & day shifts, including weekends when required
  • Excellent math skills for accurate measurements and calculations
  • Full clean New Zealand Driver’s License, Minimum Class 1, class 2 and WTR beneficial
  • Site Safe Civil Passport and First Aid would be highly advantageous
  • Sound verbal and written communication skills
  • Reliable, honest and flexible
