Are you ready to make a significant impact on a transformative project? Fletcher Construction is seeking a talented and innovative Quantity Surveyor to join our team for the Te Awa Kairangi project alliance.

About the Opportunity

As a Quantity Surveyor, you will play a crucial role in managing procurement, project costs and ensuring financial success. Your responsibilities will include:

Full contract servicing of projects, including financial monitoring and reporting.
Managing project costs to achieve or exceed margin and profit targets.
Building trusted relationships with stakeholders to positively influence project outcomes.
Turning metrics and analysis into meaningful insights for project performance.

What you’ll bring to the role

You’re curious and enjoy creating and finding solutions in your chosen field. You will have the opportunity to make your mark and develop your skills along the way.

At least 3 years of commercial experience at a junior/intermediate level
Experience in the construction or a related industry
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
Proficiency in MS Office
Tech savvy and experience using Procore and JDE would be a bonus!
Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to develop solutions to problems

About the Te Awa Kairangi Project

Te Awa Kairangi is a transformative project in Hutt City. Fletcher Construction is working with project partners AECOM, NZTA, Taranaki Whānui and Ngāti Toa Rangatira to deliver this project. Te Awa Kairangi Alliance is delivering transport, walking and cycling improvements to the SH2 Melling interchange and rail station. Design is underway and construction is due to commence in late 2025.
