Its strategic market placement ensures consistent supply chain reliability and supports national construction resilience, particularly in large-scale developments and regional growth initiatives.

We're looking for a strategic and people-focused Quarries Manager to oversee operations at our Portland and Wilsonville sites. This is a leadership opportunity to drive safety, sustainability, and operational excellence in a dynamic environment.

You’ll be responsible for:

  • Leading a safety-first culture and empowering high-performing teams
  • Developing and executing quarry strategies and pit development plans
  • Ensuring compliance with environmental and statutory regulations
  • Driving operational excellence and continuous improvement
  • Building strong relationships with iwi, regulators, and local communities
  • Collaborating across manufacturing leadership to deliver sustainable outcomes

We’re looking for someone who brings:

  • Proven experience managing large, multi-product quarry sites
  • A Grade COC and extraction experience
  • Strong understanding of limestone recovery and cement chemistry (advantageous)
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and influencing skills
  • Familiarity with the Resource Management Act (1991) and Health & Safety at Work Act (2015)
