Ko tā mātou mahi | Our Role

This is a very diverse role where you will be responsible for leading the quarry operations to achieve the agreed targets for production and distribution of quarry materials, while driving the implementation of continuous improvement for safety and efficiency across the site.

Key accountabilities in this role will have a major focus health and safety, and optimal asset management - leading a culture of safety excellence and zero harm. 

You will be someone that can develop effective relationships with key stakeholders and be a strong influencer for site behaviours that are in line with our values, driving engagement throughout the team.

Ngā Pūmanawatanga Ōu | What You Will Bring

  • Relevant tertiary qualification, equivalent work experience current holder of an A- Grade quarry managers Certificate and maintain CPD hours.
  • Extensive experience of quarry systems, equipment and operations with a focus on continuous improvement.
  • Proven leadership experience in an equivalent operating environment, including a strong commitment to safety.
  • Sound computing skills relating to quarry management and people management e.g., MS Office, HRIS, payroll and accounting systems.
