We are looking for a dependable and team-oriented Quarry Operator to join our Belmont site. This role centres on operating earthmoving plant and supporting quarry production in a safe, consistent, and collaborative way.

  • Hours of work: Minimum 40 hours per week, rostered Monday to Sunday between 6:00am and 6:00pm
  • Pay range: $27 – $40 per hour

Key Responsibilities
  • Operating earthmoving plant such as excavators, loaders, and crushing equipment 
  • Moving, loading, and distributing materials to support quarry production and stockpile management
  • Monitoring plant performance and carrying out routine checks, adjustments, and minor maintenance
  • Safely feeding and operating crushing and screening plant to meet production requirements
  • Identifying faults or hazards and reporting issues promptly to maintain safe operations
  • Supporting weighbridge processes and accurate record-keeping where required
  • Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe work environment
  • Working collaboratively with team members to support production targets and customer needs

Minimum Requirements
  • Experience operating earthmoving plant (e.g., excavator, loader) in quarrying, construction, or similar environments
  • Ability to operate machinery safely and follow structured work procedures
  • A positive, collaborative approach and willingness to support team success
  • Strong awareness of health, safety, and environmental practices
  • Full Class 1 driver licence (preferred) 
  • Wheels, Tracks and Rollers endorsement (preferred)
