Description

We have an opportunity for an experienced Regional Finance Manager to join the Higgins team in Hamilton.  This is a senior role, reporting to the Area Finance Manager; you will be leading the financials for the Higgins region along with managing a team.  You will be responsible for working alongside our highly skilled managers to help contribute to the region’s success.

You will have a modern approach to accounting and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. This is a hands-on role so we are looking for a quick thinker who can solve issues, have high attention to detail and provide accurate information promptly.


What you’ll bring to the role:


  • Tertiary qualification in accounting with 5+ years practical accounting experience
  • Experience with using the JDE operating system is highly sought after. 
  • Prior experience in Civil Contracting/Construction industries is desirable.
  • CA status or working towards this – support available to achieve this if required.
  • Experience managing a team is sought after but not essential. You will enjoy leading a team or have an interest in stepping into this position.
  • Confident at owning and managing workflows with competing deadlines.
  • Highly organised, ability to prioritise with excellent communication skills.
