Description

We’re looking for an exceptional Regional Manufacturing Manager to lead our NSW/ACT operations—someone who is not just operationally sharp, but a true leader who can engage, influence and inspire.

This is a critical leadership role where you’ll bring a laser focus on manufacturing excellence, balancing strong cultural leadership with disciplined execution and performance outcomes. You’ll lead a key site while providing functional leadership across multiple locations, ensuring consistency in standards, performance, and capability.

Operating in a unionised environment, your ability to build credibility and strong, respectful relationships with unions and employee representatives will be critical. You’ll be actively involved in Enterprise Agreement negotiations and broader IR matters, bringing both commercial acumen and emotional intelligence to the table.

At the same time, you’ll play a pivotal role in embedding Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement disciplines—driving productivity, efficiency, and measurable performance uplift across the network.

This is a fast-paced, made-to-order manufacturing environment, where short lead times demand clarity, responsiveness, and strong operational judgement. You’ll need to stay closely connected to both your teams and customers, ensuring the right balance between delivery, quality, and engagement.

What you’ll be responsible for
  • Leading manufacturing excellence with a strong focus on performance, discipline, and outcomes
  • Driving a high-performing, engaged culture while maintaining visible, on-the-ground leadership
  • Leading a key site while providing functional leadership across multiple locations
  • Ensuring consistency in manufacturing standards, performance, and capability across the region
  • Building and maintaining strong, trusted relationships with unions and employee representatives
  • Playing an active role in Enterprise Agreement negotiations and broader IR matters
  • Embedding Lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Lifting productivity, efficiency, and operational performance through structured improvement
  • Operating effectively in fast-paced, made-to-order environments with short lead times
  • Delivering effective workforce planning aligned to production requirements
  • Staying closely connected to frontline teams and customers to ensure strong outcomes

What you’ll bring
  • Senior leadership experience within manufacturing or industrial environments
  • Deep experience in unionised workplaces, including Enterprise Agreements and IR
  • Experience working in short lead-time, made-to-order production environments
  • A proven track record of building strong cultures while lifting performance expectations
  • Strong capability in Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement
  • Strong operational and commercial judgement, with the ability to make decisions quickly
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement, with the ability to connect from frontline to customer
