About the Role
As Regional Sales Manager, you’ll play a key role in our sales leadership team, managing 6 direct reports across Christchurch, Dunedin, and Otago. You’ll lead and coach a high-performing team, turning national strategies into impactful regional plans that drive revenue growth and success.  You’ll take ownership of budgets, KPIs, and forecasting to ensure supply chain readiness while boosting market share and achieving ambitious revenue targets. Along the way, you’ll build strong partnerships with key customers and stakeholders, champion exceptional customer experiences, and set the standard for operational excellence.

What We’re Looking For
  • At least 5 years’ sales leadership experience managing a sales-focussed team, ideally with regional coverage. 
  • Proven ability to lead with impact, driving success and delivering results, fostering a collaborative high-performance culture. 
  • Leverage your strong commercial acumen and analytical expertise to access market trends and develop strategic regional plans aligned with business objectives. 
  • Manage P&L, budgeting, and operational finance.
  • Build strong customer partnerships with key decision makers with the ability to influence decisions through innovative solutions and customer-centric thinking.
  • Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills.
  • Tech-savvy and confident using Salesforce and digital platforms to optimize performance, track metrics to provide insights that influence decisions. 
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, with practical experience using CRM and ERP systems.
  • Knowledge of the building products or manufacturing industries or similar is an advantage.
