We have an opportunity for a Renewals Manager to join the Higgins Team based in Christchurch. This is a leadership role and an opportunity that would suit an experienced Renewals Manager or Renewals Engineer ready for their next step.

Key responsibilities

Delivering pavement and surfacing renewals, ensuring all programmes of work and contract requirements are met.
Preparing and managing the delivery of all reporting requirements for renewals, including design reports, quality management plans, and construction programmes.
Managing day-to-day project execution, including the efficient use of labour and resources.
Monitoring and managing the performance of subcontractors and suppliers.
Preparing and presenting internal and external reports detailing financial, health and safety, and quality performance.
Ensuring all health, safety, and environmental requirements are achieved.
Leading investigations into health, safety, and quality issues.
Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.

What you’ll bring

10+ years industry experience with proven maintenance experience
Experience managing maintenance contracts
Proven ability in scoping, planning and programming renewals work
In-depth understanding of the technical, contractual and financial aspects of maintenance contracts
Proficiency in RAMM is essential
Knowledge of the Construction Contracts Act and application of NZS 3910 & NZS 3917
Excellent communication and relationship building abilities
Bachelor of Engineering or other relevant Tertiary qualifications desirable but not essential
