Where Your Next Success Story Begin

Due to our continued growth, we have a new opportunity for a Residential Specification BDM. Your primary goal will be work with our existing client base of New Home Builders, Designers and Developers helping drive our sales growth through Primary Demand Specification.

You will be a growth focused and commercially astute Specification Manager/Account Manager ready to start your journey with Laminex. Servicing Perth, you will be accountable for the indirect sale of the Laminex Australia product and services to some of the largest residential builders along with influencing our elite designers and showrooms within the renovation space.

This will be primarily via regular planned contact including face to face meetings with indirect customers who design/specify our materials or products or who influence the specification of our product or who influence the use of Laminex products in residential projects.

This business-critical role will focus on:
  • leading by example to promote the Environmental, Health and Safety culture within the organisation.
  • Managing existing customer base while developing new sales opportunities across the home builder market and renovation space.
  • Maximizing opportunities by effectively planning; scheduling and managing coverage for call ratios and effective time management.
  • Deliver on revenue, margin, and new customer acquisition & growth targets through the specification of our products across the residential sector.
  • Provide Laminex product & brand expertise and education, and the ability to adapt our offering to the differing needs & drivers of individual stakeholder businesses.
  • Effective communication & activity around New Product Development (NPD) launches and any relevant insights or trends.

You will have:

  • Enthusiasm and exceptional communication skills to bring to this position coupled with the ability to prioritise customer needs and value manage projects throughout the end-to-end sales process.
  • The ability to think strategically and can look for growth opportunities.
  • The ability to build rapport and relationships quickly.
  • A team player attitude.
  • Sales or BDM experience 
  • Exposure to CRM
  • Computer Skills- Using computer systems such as Microsoft Word, Excel, salesforce.com and PowerPoint to enter data, process, and present information.
