Newly created position within one of our largest branches for a driven and experienced Retail Manager to promote growth and capability within our Cook St Branch.
Reporting to and supporting our Operations Manager, you will lead a team of up to 25 staff that work across the retail floor, trade counter and yard area ensuring prompt, friendly and knowledgeable customer service as well as product ranging, merchandising and sales of our extensive range of building products. On a daily basis you will liaise with various people throughout our business which includes customers and industry representatives.
With relevant experience within a retail store or showroom environment you demonstrate confidence, enthusiasm, sales drive, commitment and leadership capabilities that are centred around delivering an exceptional customer experience. Your strong attention to detail and ability to take ownership will see you succeed in this role as you have high expectations of yourself and those around you. An understanding of the building industry would also be beneficial but is not essential.
