About the Role

Are you an experienced Piling Rig Operator with a proven track record in bored piles and CFA (Continuous Flight Auger) piling? We’re looking for a skilled professional to join our team and play a key role in delivering high-quality foundation solutions.

  • Operate piling rigs and cranes safely and efficiently as directed by site leadership.
  • Perform daily safety checks and maintain equipment in top condition.
  • Adhere to all health and safety guidelines and contribute to a safe work environment.
  • Participate in planning meetings and assist in developing work plans.
  • Communicate effectively with the team to ensure smooth operations and project delivery.

What You’ll Bring

  • Minimum 6,000 hours operating bored pile rigs and strong experience with CFA piling.
  • Certified to operate piling rigs/cranes and hold a full NZ driver licence.
  • At least 5 years’ experience in civil construction operating cranes and drill rigs.
  • Familiarity with vibro hammers, drop hammers, sheet piling, driven piling, and general lifting.
  • Strong commitment to health and safety practices.
  • Good literacy, numeracy, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and in physically demanding environments.
