Description

Higgins are seeking a Road Maintenance Labourer / Cyclic Crew Member to join the team on the Waikato District Council northern road maintenance and renewals contract. 

Based in Te Kauwhata, this contract covers a network of approximately 1200km of sealed & unsealed roads in North Waikato from Huntly to Pōkeno. You will be involved in the general maintenance, repair works, annual programmed works, pre-seal repairs and additional works on this comprehensive roading network.

What you’ll bring to the role:
  • Full Class 2 Driver's license required
  • WTR (Wheels, Tracks, and Rollers) endorsement a bonus
  • Previous experience in road maintenance is preferred
  • Flexibility to work days, nights, and participate in an on-call roster
  • Experience with incident response is a plus
  • Familiarity with RAMM is beneficial
  • Reliable, honest, and a good team player
