Description

We are seeking a Road Marking Assistant to join our team in Palmerston North. In this role, you will support the road marking crew by preparing sites for painting. Your responsibilities will include general road marking labouring, assisting with traffic setup, and learning to operate the painting equipment.

This role requires flexibility, including evening and weekend work, with occasional overnight travel.  Working hours are Sunday to Thursday from 5pm, with shifts working 8-10 hours.

What you’ll bring to the role
  • Full New Zealand Driver’s License – Class 2 (beneficial)
  • Background in construction or traffic management is beneficial 
  • High level of physical fitness due to the physical nature of the role
  • Commitment to health and safety not only for yourself, your colleagues but also the public
  • Self-motivated with a positive attitude and the ability to think for yourself
  • Be reliable, honest and a flexible team player
