The traffic division at Higgins Wellington are looking for multiple STMS to join the team. This is an exciting time to join the business with a strong pipeline of work 

As a Site Traffic Management Supervisor (STMS), you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the safe and efficient management of traffic around our construction sites. You will lead and support a team of traffic controllers, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and safety standards. This is a key role where your expertise will contribute to the smooth running of our projects and the safety of all road users.

What you’ll bring to the role:

  • STMS Qualification with Category A and B practising
  • Full clean New Zealand Driver’s License, Minimum Class 1, class 2 desirable
  • A safety-first attitude – for yourself, your team and the public
  • Sound verbal and written communication skills
  • Previous experience mentoring and supervising crews
  • Proven experience in the traffic industry
  • A high level of physical fitness due to the physical nature of the role
  • Reliable, honest and flexible
