As part of the Concrete Division of Fletcher Building, Firth has been supporting the construction industry for decades, supplying ready‑mixed concrete, masonry, and premix products from over 80 sites nationwide. Our team of around 700 people is known for working together with care, integrity, and pride in what we do.

We are now seeking a Mandarin‑speaking Sales Representative to support and grow our Asian customer base. This role blends telesales, relationship management, and sales follow‑up, working closely with our wider sales and customer service teams.

About the role

You will nurture strong, long‑term customer relationships through thoughtful communication, timely follow‑ups, and a genuine understanding of customer needs. Whether supporting Sales Representatives with quotations or managing customer conversations via WeChat, your work will help ensure customers feel supported, informed, and valued. 
Key responsibilities
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with customers across the Asian market
  • Make follow‑up calls and manage quotation and order follow‑ups
  • Support Sales Representatives to progress sales opportunities and meet targets
  • Communicate confidently with customers via phone, email, and WeChat
  • Work closely with the Customer Service WeChat team to manage enquiries and resolve issues
  • Maintain accurate customer records and contribute to sales reporting
  • Actively support Firth’s strong commitment to health, safety, and wellbeing
You bring warmth, resilience, and a customer‑focused mindset, along with:
  • Proficient verbal and written communication skills in Mandarin and English
  • Confidence using WeChat for professional customer communication
  • Experience in telesales, inside sales, sales support, or customer service (preferred)
  • A collaborative working style and strong interpersonal skills
  • A proactive, self‑driven approach with the ability to stay calm under pressure
  • A willingness to learn, adapt, and grow in a dynamic environment
