We’re on the lookout for a keen learner with great people skills to join our Petone team as a Sales & Service Coordinator.

About the Role

Your duties will include processing customer orders and conducting sales while maintaining a professional image at all times. You’ll learn our system to complete transactions accurately and support smooth branch operations, building confidence across customer interactions and sales support. As an all‑rounder, you’ll provide friendly, solutions‑focused service at the counter, over the phone, and across the branch, ensuring customers receive the right products and information.

You will also assist with product handling, including unloading and loading items in accordance with safe operating procedures. From time to time, you may be required to support the yard, so you must be fit and comfortable lifting up to 25kg.

Standard hours of work are 40-hours per week, Monday to Friday between 8:00 am and 5:00pm. Some flexibility in start/finish time may be considered.

Skills and Experience

Full Driver’s Licence required. F endorsement & Forklift licence is preferred although we can provide support for the right candidate.

While a background in either yard work or sales will be advantageous to this role, it will also be important you are you are able to demonstrate:

Self-motivation and reliability.
A focus on strong customer service
Strong communication written and verbal
Able to undertake some repetitive heavy lifting– up to 25kgs
A willingness to be trained and learn new skills.
