Description

Our S&OP Manager leads the Sales & Operations Planning process, ensuring effective alignment between demand, supply, and business strategy.

This role drives cross-functional collaboration across Operations, Sales, Quality, Manufacturing, Category Marketing, Logistics, and Finance to deliver optimised demand and supply plans that support customer service, profitability, and growth. 

The S&OP Manager provides robust insights, forecasts, and scenario planning to enable informed decision-making and balance supply chain risks. 

Responsibilities include tactical purchasing, inventory control, and optimisation of key metrics through standardised systems and procedures. 

Key Responsibilities 
  • Lead the monthly S&OP cycle, aligning demand, supply, financial, and operational objectives. 
  • Facilitate demand and supply reviews, and executive S&OP meetings. 
  • Develop and maintain reliable demand forecasts in collaboration with Sales. 
  • Ensure reliable supply through demand forecasting, capacity planning, and supplier management. 
  • Optimise inventory, working capital, and supply chain resilience. 
  • Provide insights and scenario modelling to support senior decision-making. 
  • Drive continuous improvement in S&OP processes, systems, and tools. 
  • Build and develop high-performing teams, fostering a culture of safety, accountability, and innovation. 
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and company policies. 

Skills and Experience 
  • Strong background in Supply Chain, Quality, or Manufacturing leadership. 
  • Proven experience in supply chain planning, demand/supply planning, or S&OP management. 
  • Demonstrated success in operational improvement and transformation. 
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. 
  • Commercial and financial acumen. 
  • Demonstrated success in driving a performance-focused culture 
  • Proficiency in advanced planning systems and data analysis tools. 
  • Tertiary qualifications in Supply Chain, Business, or related discipline.
