Brian Perry Civil is a specialist ground engineering and civil construction company delivering complex and technically challenging projects. We operate across sectors where we can add value through our expertise in foundations, structures, and marine works, and across the whole water sector delivering treatment, storage, and distribution infrastructure projects.

We’re seeking a Senior Estimator to join the team based in Wellington.

Reporting to the Regional Estimating Manager, you will secure work by pricing tenders accurately to maximise profit for the business along with meeting client expectations on price, programme and quality.

You’ll work autonomously on tenders, typically large and/or complex, varying from $5M to $50M. Depending on the complexity you may also be leading a team of Estimators.

Often you will be involved in preparation of multiple tenders at any one time – this role offers lots of variety.

About You

Engineering certification or degree preferred
10 years experience in an estimating role with experience leading other estimators
Experience in a heavy civil construction; structures, foundations, marines, wharfs, bridges
Experience in complex and/or large scale projects
High level of interpersonal skills
Ability to work proactively within a high performing new business team
Excellent analytical skills
Expertise in using Candy software for estimating
Ability to develop solutions to problems
