We are seeking a Senior Financial Accountant to join a diverse team. You will bring a high level of quality, precision and timeliness, and a passion for continuous improvement to our finance team. Ngā Kawenga Matua – Key Responsibilities
  • Supporting end of year and month end processes, including reconciliations and journals 
  • Ownership of the Fixed Asset Register, ensuring accuracy, completeness and appropriate depreciation/amortisation rates are assigned for tax and accounting purposes
  • Ensuring accuracy and completeness of the Lease system (LOIS) 
  • Support preparation of budget, cashflow, forecast and management reports, including variance analysis
  • Responsible to prepare GST, FBT and Income Tax returns
  • Champion best practices in financial controls and compliance

Ngā Āhuatanga e Hiahiatia Ana – Ideal Candidate Profile
  • CA/CPA qualification and tertiary education
  • 5+ years’ experience in financial accounting within a large organisation
  • Thoughtful approach to problem-solving and decision-making
  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset
  • Experience with SAP or similar ERP systems
