We are seeking a Senior Financial Accountant to join a diverse team. You will bring a high level of quality, precision and timeliness, and a passion for continuous improvement to our finance team. Ngā Kawenga Matua – Key Responsibilities

Supporting end of year and month end processes, including reconciliations and journals
Ownership of the Fixed Asset Register, ensuring accuracy, completeness and appropriate depreciation/amortisation rates are assigned for tax and accounting purposes
Ensuring accuracy and completeness of the Lease system (LOIS)
Support preparation of budget, cashflow, forecast and management reports, including variance analysis
Responsible to prepare GST, FBT and Income Tax returns
Champion best practices in financial controls and compliance

Ngā Āhuatanga e Hiahiatia Ana – Ideal Candidate Profile

CA/CPA qualification and tertiary education
5+ years’ experience in financial accounting within a large organisation
Thoughtful approach to problem-solving and decision-making
Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset
Experience with SAP or similar ERP systems
