Description

About us
The Fletcher Building family is a community made up of people who use all their experience, skills and individuality to do amazing work. We are listed on both the NZX and ASX and have some 30 businesses across New Zealand, Australia and the South Pacific.  We are firm believers in attracting and retaining talented people from diverse backgrounds, with different perspectives and experiences, to enable new ways of thinking that drive growth and deliver customer outcomes.

About the role
We have a 12-month fixed term contract for an experienced Payroll Remediation Analyst. In this role you'll lead remediation and compliance related projects in line with the agreed project plan, to see project activities through to resolution and conclusion, working with business units and the payroll team.  As a payroll subject matter expert, your strong knowledge of payroll related legislation and ability to systematically review, audit and analyse large datasets will ensure our complex practices and systems remain compliant.

About you
With a background in both Payroll and payroll systems, you will enjoy working in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.  Technically competent, and an advanced Excel user (PivotTables, VLOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH, and Data Tables), you will have an analytical mind-set coupled with an exceptionally high level of attention to detail. You will also be able to see the bigger picture; ensuring system changes are fully assessed and all impacts of change are considered.   Your role is paramount to ensuring Payroll operates in compliance with all relevant legislation and as such you will enjoy taking ownership, assisting others and working collaboratively. Alteryx experience would be helpful.  AMS experience is highly advantageous but not essential.
