As the Senior Payroll Compliance Analyst, you will support the Payroll Remediation and Compliance team activities in the detailed investigation of all aspects of payroll to fully identify any gaps in compliance. This includes detailed documentation of these findings both at a technical level and also in a way that can be discussed with management teams in the business units.
You will build strong key stakeholder relationships and manage any system queries, investigating and resolving issues that arise whilst ensuring that the work allocated is executed in a professional, accurate and timely manner according to the requirements of the Steering Committee and the Head of Payroll and Credit Management & Debt Recovery.
Your role is paramount to ensuring Payroll operates in compliance with all relevant NZ legislations and as such you will enjoy taking ownership, assisting others and working collaboratively
With a background in both systems and payroll, you will enjoy working in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.
Technically competent, and an Advanced Excel user, you will have an analytical mind-set coupled with an exceptionally high level of attention to detail. You will also be able to see the bigger picture; ensuring system changes are fully assessed and all impacts of change are considered. You must have the ability to lead end to end remediation activities and execute compliance activities using set procedures and guidelines
