Description

We have an opportunity available for an experienced Senior Project Engineer to join our Green Team based on the Kaiwiakawe Windfarm Project in Dargaville. This is a fixed term role until April 2026.

This role will be responsible for managing the upgrade of the transportation route between Marsden Point port and the Windfarm, upgrading the roading infrastructure to facilitate the ongoing construction and the transportation of plant and equipment including the turbines.

What you’ll bring to the role:

5+ years experience as a Project Engineer on civils and roading projects
Proven roading project experience ideally with safety improvement/infrastructure upgrade project delivery
Prior project experience overseeing roading, earthworks and pavement construction
A tertiary qualification in Engineering (NZDCE or BEng Civils or similar)
A strong focus on cost control and Quality outcomes.
Understanding of the Construction Contracts Act and the knowledge to apply NZS3910 is desirable
Experience managing project resources including materials and teams/crews is favourable.
Excellent interpersonal skills to build effective relationships with stakeholders and clients.
