About the Role

This is a newly created Senior Project Engineer role within our Concrete Roading team. You’ll be hands‑on in construction management, running day‑to‑day delivery for concrete pavement contracts throughout New Zealand. This role suits someone who enjoys ownership, development of operations, thrives under pressure, and is comfortable navigating new business and engaging clients for sector growth.

Manage delivery of concrete roading works
Lead construction planning, sequencing, and execution for the concrete roading operation
Manage and develop a team of Site Engineers, and graduates
Coordinate subcontractors, plant, and resources to meet programme demands
Maintain strong commercial control under NZS3910 contracts
Develop the concrete roading operation including client base, operational strategy and pipeline

What You’ll Bring

A tertiary qualification in civil engineering, construction management, or a related field
Solid experience delivering concrete pavement projects from establishment through delivery
Demonstrated capability managing concrete pavement and roading works
Confidence leading teams and making sound decisions for the progression of operational excellence
Strong commercial awareness with experience managing NZS3910 contracts
Clear communication style and the ability to work autonomously with clients and potential clients to develop concrete pavement solutions
