The Role 
We need a Senior Quantity Surveyor with a passion for their work to join our strong, supportive team. Located in Napier, you’ll be working with a welcoming, diverse bunch of people driving Brian Perry Civil’s strong growth and expansion. 
 
Your responsibilities will include contract reviews, budget and cost control, forecasting, development of subcontractor and supplier agreements, claims management, commercial risk management and reporting, as well as guidance and support to Commercial team and other project functions. You’ll be supporting both our current and upcoming projects.   
 
About You 
We’re seeking someone with a solid grounding in the civil infrastructure or buildings space, with the ability and experience to create strong links with our New Business and project delivery teams.  We want someone with:
  • Relevant experience and qualifications in the infrastructure or building industries, 
  • Demonstrated ability to work across multiple projects ranging in scale and complexity,  
  • Strong professional relationship building skills across a range of stakeholders, ensuring project contractual conditions are fully understood in relation to commercial delivery,
  • The ability to offer advice, guidance, and support to the team and other project functions, so they can better identify and manage project cost and commercial risks, 
  • Strong computer-based skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Suite software, and experience with business management and document management software systems,
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
