Brian Perry Civil (BPC) have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our Central Region Team, based in the Hawkes Bay.

Reporting directly to the Regional Commercial Manager, and operationally to the Hawkes Bay Contracts Manager, you’ll need to hit the ground running and be comfortable carrying out all aspects of Quantity Surveying. You will be joining a small team where you can lead from the front with your knowledge and experience of civil construction projects and tenders.

What you'll bring to the role:

Solid experience and qualifications as a Senior QS in the civil infrastructure industry
Demonstrated ability to work across multiple projects ranging in scale and complexity
Proven contract administration experience with the ability to support and guide the project team on claims/commercial management
Strong professional relationship building skills across a range of stakeholders, ensuring project contractual conditions are fully understood in relation to commercial delivery
The ability to offer advice, guidance, and support to the team and other project functions, so they can better identify and manage project cost and commercial risks
Ability to develop and mentor junior and intermediate members of the team
Proficient with CCS Candy, JD Edwards, Microsoft Project favourable
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
