Description

As a Senior Salesforce Test Analyst, you’ll provide quality assurance expertise in a scaled agile environment, making sure every Salesforce release is thoroughly tested, stable, and ready to deliver seamless experiences for our trade customers and across our branches nationwide. This isn’t a role where you sit back and tick boxes; it’s hands-on, collaborative, and critical to shaping how we deliver technology that keeps our business moving forward.

You’ll balance deep technical testing with stakeholder engagement, working inside a fast-paced agile environment to solve real challenges and drive improvements that matter. From translating user stories into clear test scenarios that influence release decisions. This role drives quality at every stage protecting critical processes and ensuring each change delivers real value.

  • Design and execute functional, integration, exploratory, and regression testing across Salesforce and connected platforms 
  • Detect, log, and triage defects, providing clear business impact insights 
  • Support user acceptance testing and guide stakeholders through the process 
  • Contribute to agile ceremonies and continuous delivery cycles 
  • Champion improvements in testing practices and help drive automation adoption 
  • Analyse business processes and recommend optimisations leveraging Salesforce capabilities 
  • Translate business requirements into solution designs, including data models, workflows, and user interfaces 
  • Maintain full traceability from requirements through tested outcomes and provide clear reporting on progress and quality metrics

Based on site at PlaceMakers Support Office in Penrose this is a permanent full-time role, offering 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday

About You: 
To succeed in this role, you’ll have hands-on experience in testing within agile delivery environments and a strong understanding of Salesforce and how it connects across complex systems. You’re confident with manual testing, interpreting workflows, breaking down business processes into clear test scenarios, managing defects effectively, and turning technical requirements into practical, reliable solutions that enhance the customer experience.

  • Proven experience across functional, system, integration and end-to-end testing with a solid understanding of regression testing techniques
  • Proficiency in Salesforce (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud or Experience Cloud) with familiarity in Azure, DevOps, Jira or similar tools
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage and build relationships at all levels
  • Analytical and solutions-focused, skilled in identifying opportunities, driving initiatives and delivering results.
  • Knowledge of Agile and Scrum methodologies 
  • ISTQB Foundation or similar certification 
  • Exposure to test automation or a keen interest in developing automation capability
