Are you ready to make a significant impact on a transformative project? Fletcher Construction is seeking a talented and innovative Senior Surveyor for Te Wai Takamori o Te Awa Kairangi (Te Awa Kairangi).

About the Role

As a Senior Surveyor you’ll play a key role in delivering accurate survey services for a major infrastructure project. You’ll work closely with engineers and construction teams to ensure precision and quality across all stages of the build.

Complete set-out, as-built, topographic, and monitoring surveys to project specifications
Establish and maintain survey control points and verify structure conformance
Process survey data and create design models using industry-standard software
Collaborate with engineers and site teams to meet deadlines and quality standards
Uphold health and safety practices and contribute to a zero-harm culture
Support continuous improvement and share knowledge within the survey team

What you’ll bring to the role

Tertiary qualification in Surveying
5–10 years’ experience in construction surveying, ideally on large infrastructure projects and bridges
Proficiency in 12d, TBC, or similar CAD packages and Trimble robotic total stations
Strong understanding of geodesy and core survey principles
Excellent time management and communication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team

About Te Awa Kairangi

Te Awa Kairangi Alliance is delivering transport, walking and cycling improvements to the SH2 Melling interchange and rail station, as part of a wider flood protection and city revitalisation programme. Fletcher Construction is working with Alliance partners AECOM, NZTA, Taranaki Whānui and Ngāti Toa Rangatira to deliver this transformative project.
