Reporting to the Bathroom/Kitchen team leader, you will be responsible for providing interior design advice to both our Trade and Retail customers with a specialisation in kitchens and bathrooms. You will discuss all aspects of creating, remodelling of their kitchens and bathrooms. You would discuss building materials, themes, colours, patterns and room layout with a client. You’ll then have to take site measurements and produce sketches and drawings based on what your client tells you he or she wants.

This is a split role working between the 2 branches: Morrinsville (3 days) and Clarence Street, Hamilton (2 days). The successful candidate will be working 5 days a week which includes rostered Saturdays.

Skills and Experience required:
  • Expertise in kitchen design but experience in bathroom, laundry, flooring, wardrobes, heating would be great too!  
  • Professional and solutions-based approach 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Exceptional time management skills to meet tight deadlines and company targets
  • Meticulous attention to detail and commitment to deliver results
  • Intermediate to advanced experience with MS Excel and design software are advantageous
