Description

This role will see you be part of our vital front line team at our Tumu Hastings Store and be responsible for delivering excellent service to our customers. Your energetic, outgoing nature and eye for detail will help you to ensure that our customers are receiving prompt, efficient service and sound advice while keeping safety at the forefront. This role is a permanent full-time position45h per week from Monday to Friday 7-4.30pm or 7.30-5pm with rostered Saturday from 8-12pm.

Dealing primarily with our building and trade customer base, your key responsibilities will include:

• Assisting within the Customer Service queries, providing product advice when required
• Assisting with stock takes and dispatch
• Loading of goods on to customer vehicles
• Assisting the team as directed to ensure an efficient Timber yard and Drive Thru is maintained
• Operating a Forklift 
• Receipting goods into stock 
• POS 

About you : 
• Sales, customer service or trade experience is a must 
• A winning attitude and desire to succeed and grow professionally
• Genuine interest in tools and power tools
• Forklift licence is not required as appropriate training/certificate can be provided, a clean full driver’s licence is essential.

While previous building or warehousing experience would be an advantage, what matters more is your positive attitude and willingness to learn.
