This isn’t your average retail role. As a Showroom Team Member at PlaceMakers Pakuranga you’ll be the first point of contact and the trusted expert part time 3 days per week (Mondays, Fridays and Saturdays) that our valued building customers rely on. From the moment they walk through the door, you’ll deliver tailored product advice, share your knowledge, and create a customer experience that keeps them coming back.

Engage with customers face-to-face, over the phone, and via email
Recommend suitable products, process orders & returns, and manage sales documentation
Merchandising and assisting with in store promotions and display setup
Monitor inventory levels, complete cycle counts and stock replenishment
Maintain cleanliness and uphold safety standards through general store housekeeping

Permanent Part-Time role based at PlaceMakers Pakuranga offering 24 hours per week Mondays & Fridays 8:30am–5:00pm and Saturdays 7.30am – 4.00pm

About You:

To succeed in this role, you’ll be a natural communicator and relationship builder who puts customers at the heart of everything you do and making every interaction a positive one. You’ll be friendly, reliable, enjoy working with others, and ready to jump in wherever needed.

Bring a strong work ethic and approachable down-to-earth attitude
Committed to delivering great service to everyone you meet
Strong attention to detail with excellent written and verbal communication skills
Confident using technology and navigating multiple system
Previous experience in similar customer facing or trade retail sales role
Knowledge of building products is preferred but not essential
