Description

We have an opportunity available for a Site Engineer to join our Green Team in Hamilton. You may be ready to take that next step in your career and this is the role to drive your further.  

Reporting into the Senior Project Engineer you will deliver the construction of pavement and surfacing works such that the project goals in terms of Health and Safety, Environmental, Quality and Financial performance are achieved.

What you'll bring to the role:
  • Ideally 1-3 years’ experience on New Zealand civils and roading projects in an Engineering capacity with technical knowledge of roading construction methods (pavement and surfacing) techniques
  • A tertiary qualification in Engineering (NZDCE or BEng Civils or similar)
  • A strong focus on cost control and Quality outcomes. 
  • Understanding of the Construction Contracts Act and the knowledge to apply NZS3910 is desirable
  • Experience managing project resources including materials and teams/crews is favourable.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to build effective relationships with stakeholders and clients.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications and general systems aptitude.
