About the Role

In this role you’ll work closely with the site team, subcontractors and project leadership to ensure tasks are organised, safe and completed to the expected standard. This role suits someone who enjoys practical problem‑solving, being out on site, and working with people from a wide range of backgrounds.

This is a fixed term opportunity to March 2029.

Planning tasks and supporting the foreman with coordination and sequencing.
Organising resources, including subcontractor interactions and timely material orders.
Monitoring progress, keeping accurate site records and providing required reporting.
Supporting health, safety, environmental and quality activities, including risk controls and inspections.
Checking subcontractor work for compliance with drawings, specs and safety requirements.
Building strong working relationships with clients, consultants, suppliers and delivery teams.

Tertiary qualification in engineering
At least three years engineering experience in civil construction
Understanding of construction methods and the confidence to apply them on site
Strong communication skills and the ability to work with a wide range of people
Good organisation and attention to detail, especially with planning and documentation
A steady, collaborative approach to solving problems and supporting your team
Commitment to safety, fairness and building a respectful site environment
