About the Role

This is a hands‑on site engineering role supporting the delivery of civil, structural, and foundation works across Wellington. You’ll spend most of your time on site, working alongside foremen, crews, and Project Engineers to keep work organised, safe, and moving as planned.

You’ll be close to the detail, trusted with responsibility, and supported to build capability through real delivery experience.

  • Support daily and short‑term planning on site
  • Coordinate crews, plant, materials, and subcontractors
  • Check work against drawings, specifications, and QA requirements
  • Assist with HSEQ controls, inspections, and site records
  • Track progress, quantities, and basic cost information
  • Communicate site issues and updates to the wider project team

What you’ll bring to the role

We’re open to people from civil, structural, or foundation backgrounds who enjoy being on site and learning through delivery.

  • A tertiary qualification in engineering or a related discipline
  • Site‑based engineering experience on construction projects
  • Understanding of construction methods and sequencing
  • Confidence working with supervisors, subcontractors, and crews
  • Good attention to detail and a practical approach to problem solving
  • Clear communication skills and a willingness to ask questions
