Where your story starts:
Join an industry-leading brand and play a key role in driving product specifications across commercial projects. Laminex is seeking an Architectural Specifications Manager in the Perth Metro. This is your opportunity to combine your strong sales acumen, design flair and industry knowledge to influence key decision-makers to secure specifications, and deliver solutions that create beautiful, functional spaces.  This relationship-focused role will see you working closely with architects, designers, and specifiers to secure product specifications and manage projects from concept through to completion.

The role will focus on:
  • Grow existing accounts and maximise customer opportunities.
  • Secure and influence specifications on commercial projects from concept through to sales execution to ensure successful outcomes. 
  • Building strong relationships with architects, designers, and industry stakeholders, positioning yourself as a trusted advisor.
  • Deliver engaging CPD, portfolio, and product presentations to drive specification outcomes.
  • Promote new product launches and share relevant market insights and trends.
  • Manage project opportunities and pipeline activity through Salesforce.

The role you will play:

You will ideally have:
  • 3–5 years’ experience in specification sales, commercial building products, or a related industry.
  • Strong understanding of commercial construction and specification processes.
  • Proven relationship-building, presentation, and consultative sales skills with architects and designers.
  • Highly organised, self-motivated, and able to manage projects, pipelines, and KPIs independently.
  • Proficient in Salesforce and Microsoft Office.
  • Collaborative team player with strong stakeholder management skills.
  • Existing industry networks and building, design, or drafting experience are advantageous.
