An exciting opportunity exists for a Specification Representative, based in Auckland.  This position plays a key role in influencing & educating architects, specifiers, designers and key decision makers to use our products and contributes significantly to the success of our business in the Auckland market.

Working closely with structural engineers, architects, developers, project managers, quantity surveyors and other influencers, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining on-going productive business relationships.

This role will see you attending and organising multiple industry events to ensure you are up to date with current trends and that you are able to share this with your valued customers. You will also be responsible for maximising the specification of our products and providing advice and support across the residential, commercial, hospitality, shop fitting and development markets.

To excel in this role you will need to have experience within the building and architectural industries, with a particular focus on projects. You will need to be tenacious and resilient with a natural ability to build strong relationships and influence key stakeholders. You will also need to have a strong personal presence, drive, integrity and an eye for potential business opportunities. . It will be an advantage for you to have exceptional presentation skills both in one on one situations and group scenarios.

This role will require you to attend industry and networking functions outside of normal office hours (approx. 2-3 nights per month) so you will need to have some flexibility with the hours you work.  There will also be a requirement for regular out of town travel.
