About the opportunity:

We currently have a vacancy for an energetic and safety-conscious Warehouse Storeperson/Driver to join our Laminex Distribution Centre in Launceston, Tasmania.

This is a full-time day shift position, Monday - Friday with no weekends. Must be happy to do up to 18 drops

Your primary responsibilities will include:

Receiving, picking, packing, preparing and dispatching orders to Laminex customers
Driving HR truck with a Pig Trailer
Completing paperwork and basic administration tasks
Ensuring tasks are completed in a safe, timely and accurate manner

About You:

The successful candidate will ideally have experience in a similar role with a general freight carrier environment. You will also have:

Strong experience in a warehouse environment and multi-drop operations
HC license to drive HR truck with a Pig Trailer is a must
LF forklift licence would be beneficial but not mandatory.
Strong initiative, as well as the ability to work well with a team
The motivation to thrive in a fast-paced environment
Good computer literacy and familiar with Warehouse Management Systems
Experience working with a range of products, especially with wide and bulky items
