Storeperson / Machine Operator – Dimond Roofing, Dunedin

Dimond Roofing is a leading New Zealand manufacturer and supplier of roofing, cladding, and rainwater products. We have an exciting opportunity for a Storeperson / Machine Operator to join our Dunedin team.

This is a hands-on role where you’ll spend approximately 80% of your time in the stores, with occasional machine operation work.

What you’ll be doing:

• Serving customers and providing excellent service
• Picking, packing, and dispatching orders
• Loading and unloading trucks using a forklift and gantry crane
• Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe yard/store
• Operating machinery such as folder and ridging machines 

What we’re looking for:

• Current F endorsement (forklift licence and overhead/gantry crane experience preferred but training can be provided for the right person)
• Reliable, punctual, and hardworking
• Strong focus on health and safety
• Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling
• A proactive, “smart worker” attitude with good attention to detail
• Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team
