The Higgins Palmerston North team have an opportunity for a Supervisor to join the Construction division.  This is a career opportunity for an experienced Foreperson or Supervisor to join the Green Team!


About the Role

Reporting to the Project Manager, you will lead a high performing team, along with the management and coordination of plant and equipment.  You will be involved in planning, resource management, setting production targets and overseeing the delivery of works across civil construction projects.

This is a diverse role so you will be multi skilled and a proven leader who is hands on, and keen to coach and mentor your team to grow their capabilities.


What you'll bring to the role

  • Extensive knowledge and experience in a similar type role either at Foreperson or Supervisor level
  • Experience in the roading / civil infrastructure sector 
  • Experience with plant and people resourcing, managing utilisation and plant costs
  • Ability to plan, prioritise and schedule work 
  • You’ll be great leader with a strong safety and quality focus
  • Class 1 licence is essential
