Are you ready to make a significant impact on a transformative project? Fletcher Construction is seeking an experienced Supervisor with a background in Utilities to join our team for Te Wai Takamori o Te Awa Kairangi (Te Awa Kairangi).

About the Role

As a Supervisor, you will assist the Superintendent in ensuring the smooth delivery of the programme of works. Your leadership and supervision will be crucial in achieving productivity, safety, and quality standards.

Provide leadership and supervision to ensure productivity, programme, safety, and quality requirements are met.
Participate in site-related logistical activities such as traffic management, site security, and facilities maintenance.
Monitor and control authorisation of time sheets, purchase orders, and hire/maintenance of plant items.
Ensure compliance with health and safety policies and procedures, conducting regular safety inspections.

What You'll Bring to the Role

At least 5 years’ experience in civil construction projects, with specific experience in utilities.
Proven experience in supervising teams and coordinating subcontractors.
Strong commitment to health and safety principles.
Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work well under pressure and be solution-driven.
Good organisational and time management skills.

About Te Awa Kairangi

Te Awa Kairangi Alliance is delivering transport, walking and cycling improvements to the SH2 Melling interchange and rail station, as part of a wider flood protection and city revitalisation programme.

Fletcher Construction is working with Alliance partners AECOM, NZTA, Taranaki Whānui and Ngāti Toa Rangatira to deliver this transformative project. Design is underway and construction is due to commence in late 2025.
