The Role
We are looking for a driven and adaptive Supply Chain Manager to oversee and manage the supply chain operates safely, effectively, and efficiently, with robust material and planning processes to meet customer commitments at Crestmead. Leading the inventory, procurement, logistics and planning teams, you will deliver production, and logistics plans to exceed customer requirements whilst minimizing, Days of Inventory and Waste.
Day to Day Responsibilities
- Drive improvements and efficiency in DIFOTIS (Delivery In Full On Time In Spec).
- Enhance team performance through strong leadership.
- Establish relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Foster interdepartmental collaboration focused on accountability, problem-solving, and SLA delivery.
- Plan manufacturing and logistics solutions to exceed customer expectations whilst containing our cost to serve.
- Oversee stores activity whilst maintaining accurate inventory levels.
- Manage supplier performance and minimize movement of Coil, Finished Goods, and Stock Variance.
- Promote and reinforce safe behaviors to protect employees.
- Extensive logistics and manufacturing planning and purchasing experience within a manufacturing organisation.
- Tertiary qualification in business related discipline (logistics, procurement, and/or supply chain management).
- Experience in building and managing relationships.
- Analytical, outcome focused, adaptable and time and priority management skills.
- Working knowledge of planning concepts, and systems related to planning such as Manufacturing Resource Planning.
- Proactive and execute strategic actions and initiatives.
- Ideally you will have experience in supply chain ERP systems, and MS skills.
