We have an opportunity available for an experienced Surveyor to join the Higgins “Green Team” based in Palmerston North.

About the role

As a Surveyor with Higgins, you will be working closely with our Senior Surveyor and Project Managers across a range of projects.  In this role you will be working 40 hours per week.  The role offers flexibility with hours and hybrid work arrangements.

What you’ll bring to the role

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Land Surveyor
  • Relevant tertiary qualification in Surveying
  • Full NZ Driver’s License
  • Competent in the use of survey equipment; RTK-GPS and Total Station
  • Experience with DJI-RTK Drone, Pix4d and Virtual Surveyor would be beneficial, however training would be provided.
  • Strong interest in civil construction and machine control such as graders, diggers
  • Experience using Magnet Office and Magnet Field is beneficial, however training would be provided.
  • Ability to communicate effectively at all levels within the organisation
  • Highly organised with the ability to prioritise
  • Attention to detail
